Eliminating CPU Frequency Drops
Walking through Rattay was a nightmare; the screen stuttered violently as frames plummeted from 65 to 22 per RTSS, killing the immersion. I tried lowering the game graphics to reduce the load, but while the FPS rose slightly, the image became grainy and the stutters persisted. I finally used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock the system into High Performance mode and disabled core parking. The results were instant: frame times converged to 12-16ms per RTSS, and my CPU core temps remained stable at 72-78℃ per AIDA64.
