During high-difficulty missions, artillery strikes caused my frames to plummet from 90 to 40, creating a terrible sense of performance collapse. I tried lowering particle effects in-game; it gained 10 FPS but the instant stutters remained, proving it was a thermal issue. I accessed the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel and pushed speeds to 1800 RPM for temperatures over 70℃. After this, CPU temperature stabilized at 76-81℃ per HWInfo64, and 3DMark stress tests confirmed no more thermal throttling with fan speeds at 1300-1700 RPM.
