Is the DeepCool AK620 ARGB Overheating in Gray Zone Warfare?
The gameplay fluidity is finally back, but it took a lot of trial and error with my cooling strategy to get here. Previously, whenever I moved quickly through dense forests, my frame rate would tank from 85 FPS to 42 FPS without warning. The GamePP Hardware Sensor Page showed CPU cores swinging wildly between 88-95°C. My first instinct was to cap the CPU max frequency at 4.0 GHz to lower the heat, but that just gutted my overall performance by 20%, which was incredibly frustrating. I then switched to the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and aggressively ramped up the slope after 70°C, forcing 100% load at 82°C.
