Optimizing Open World I/O
Galloping across Tsushima was a pain; distant mountains looked like pixel blocks, totally destroying the immersion. I first tried changing partition alignment in Disk Management, but it did absolutely nothing for the loading speed. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to elevate the game's I/O priority to real-time. The results are night and day: frame times dropped to 9-13ms via RTSS, and the drive stays at 38-42℃ per HWInfo.
