Solving Open World Texture Lag
Walking through town and seeing buildings as pixel blocks was a total nightmare for immersion. I first tried setting virtual memory to half of my remaining disk space, but it just worsened read/write conflicts and caused more frame drops. I finally accessed GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to bump the depth from 1024 to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flushing. 4K random reads hit 70-80 MB/s per GamePP, while SLC write drops were capped at 800 MB/s via GamePP, and temps sat at 42-52℃ per AIDA64. It's finally stable at 52℃
