Solving SLC Cache Exhaustion
Entering the battlefield took forever as the game updated, with write speeds plummeting from 1800MB/s to 160-210MB/s per GamePP Hardware Sensor. I tried using the built-in Windows disk defragmenter, but that's useless for NVMe and only increased write wear, leaving me frustrated. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to clear redundant I/O processes and reset the SLC cache allocation strategy. This worked wonders; Random 4K reads improved to 58-66MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, and map load times dropped from 45s to 18s with temps at 42-51℃ per GamePP Hardware Sensor.
