Why is Battlefield 2042 texture flickering on my MSI B450M MORTAR MAX?

Paris level loads were a nightmare; textures took 8s instead of 3s, breaking my immersion. I tried forcing PCIe Gen 3 in BIOS, but the GPU failed to recognize entirely, which was a total pain. I used the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to switch power management from Balanced to High Performance. This stabilized the PCIe bandwidth from 12GB/s to 15-16GB/s (3DMark). My system temps stayed cool at 62-68℃ (AIDA64), and the flickering vanished completely, fixing the visual artifacts for good.
