Stabilizing VRM Power in Atomic Heart
Entering the Atomic Heart laboratory, I noticed sudden screen tearing that ruined the immersion. I tried adding more case fans, which slightly lowered temperatures but failed to stop the voltage fluctuations. Using the GamePP Hardware Sensor page, I identified two overheating VRM phases. I adjusted the BIOS current detection calibration, tightening the voltage tolerance from ±3% to ±1%. This stabilized the power delivery. A 3DMark stress test confirmed the elimination of fluctuations, with VRM temperatures stabilizing at 72-78°C and voltage holding steady at 1.25V.
