Eliminating Texture Pop-in
Watching distant terrain emerge like mosaics was fatal to my exploration experience. I tried increasing the system page file size to 64GB, but it didn't help the texture lag and actually dropped my frame rate from 82 to 68 FPS per RTSS, which was incredibly anxious. I opened GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, bumped the depth to 2048, and enabled forced write cache flush. 4K random reads improved to 85-92MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, while HWInfo showed temps at 46-54℃ and GamePP recorded response times of 5.1-6.4ms.
