Why does Valorant freeze for several seconds when loading maps?

Every time I load a map, the game freezes for three or four seconds without warning, which makes me extremely anxious. I first tried updating the SSD firmware, but loading times only decreased by less than a second and the freezes persisted. I then accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the depth from 32 to 128 and optimized the I/O scheduler. CrystalDiskMark later showed 4K reads jumping from 35-42MB/s to 58-65MB/s, and HWInfo64 confirmed temps at 40-48℃.
