YMTC Ti600 Queue Depth for Tomb Raider
I hated the 8-second loads in Tomb Raider as write speeds crashed from 3500MB/s to 500MB/s when the SLC cache filled. I tried increasing virtual memory, but it made disk conflicts worse, causing more frame drops. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase depth from 512 to 1024 and enabled forced write cache refresh. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read jumping from 35-42MB/s to 55-62MB/s, and loads dropped to 3 seconds. This queue depth adjustment is the key to set a smooth loading experience.
