Optimizing Resource Scheduling
Exploring the open world in The Division, I hit 0.5-second freezes whenever entering dense urban zones, which felt incredibly anxious. I tried closing all background apps, but I/O blocking remained at 100-150ms per GamePP; this superficial fix was maddening. Using the GamePP Resource Scheduler, I found P-Core/E-Core contention. A failed attempt to bind all threads to P-Cores spiked temps to 95℃ via AIDA64, so I instead set the game to 'Realtime' priority and background tasks to 'Low'. RTSS showed frame times converged from 16-42ms to 12-18ms, and AIDA64 confirmed temps at 68-75℃.
