Reducing Storage Latency
During high-speed particle attacks, I noticed slight tearing at the edges of the screen and erratic frame times, which made me anxious. I tried enabling low-latency mode in the drivers; while input response improved, the tearing persisted, making the trial-and-error process stressful. I accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increasing the depth from 32 to 128. RTSS monitoring showed frame intervals converged to 11-16ms, and GamePP showed fan speeds at 1200-1400RPM.
