Optimizing Ryzen 5 9600X
The irregular frame drops were anxiety-inducing, especially when the screen would freeze for 0.4s while sneaking through corridors. I tried enabling the High Performance power plan in Windows; while clock speeds rose, core loads remained uneven, which was maddening. Using the GamePP Resource Scheduler, I found 15-30ms scheduling delays per RTSS. After a failed attempt to bind all threads to physical cores that hit 96℃ per AIDA64, I optimized process priorities to Realtime. Frame generation time converged to 12-18ms per RTSS, and CPU temp stabilized at 68-75℃ per AIDA64.
