Resolving Thread Scheduling
In a horror game where immersion is everything, even a 15ms scheduling delay causes jarring visual discomfort. I initially tried enabling V-Sync to align frames, but input lag spiked to over 40ms per InputLag, making controls feel like mud. I switched to the GamePP Resource Scheduler, elevating the main process to Real-time priority and locking rendering threads to physical cores. RTSS monitoring showed frame time fluctuations converged to 13-17ms, and GamePP confirmed core voltage stayed at 1.22-1.31V. The tearing is gone.
