Eliminating Random Freezes
Every time I rode through Saint Denis, the screen would freeze for a split second, which was incredibly grating in such an immersive world. I first tried enabling the 'Ultimate Performance' power plan in Windows, but my CPU hit 94℃ and forced a system reboot, which made me very anxious. I then used the GamePP BIOS Load-Line Voltage Adjustment Guide to tune primary timings to 16-18-18-36 and increased voltage to 1.35V. AIDA64 showed latency dropped to 78-84ns, MemTest86 confirmed zero errors after 5 cycles, and VRM temperature held at 62℃ per HWMonitor.
