Why does PUBG freeze at 80% loading when parachuting in?

I felt absolute madness every time my screen froze at 80% loading while parachuting into the map. I tried setting my virtual memory to a fixed size, but the game just crashed, which only increased my anxiety. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to raise the queue limit to 2048 and enabled the forced write cache flush policy. Random 4K reads improved from 55 to 72 MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, and fan speeds stayed stable at 1400-1600RPM per HWMonitor.
