Pacific Drive has massive loading delays when switching areas on my Galax H310M Warrior D4, should I tweak the disk settings?

Every time I hit a new zone, I'm staring at a black screen for ten seconds. In an open-world game, that's just soul-crushing. The SATA interface on the Galax H310M Warrior D4 was struggling with fragmented assets, and I saw I/O wait times spiking between 140,0 - 210,0ms, which basically choked the asset streaming. I tried enabling write caching in Windows, but it only shaved off a second and actually corrupted a save file after a crash—that part was genuinely stressful. I went back to basics: verified AHCI mode was enabled in the BIOS and switched the disk scheduling policy from 'Fair' to 'Complete Fairness Queue' (CFQ).
