How to stabilize Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600MHz frequency?
Watching my FPS dive from 60 down to 40 in the middle of a fight was pure anxiety, especially against high-difficulty bosses where one stutter means death. The Corsair LPX 3600MHz was hitting signal jitters at stock voltage, causing frame times to fluctuate between 12-28ms. I tried the Windows 'Ultimate Performance' mode first, but my CPU temp shot up to 92℃ and triggered a thermal throttle, which just made the anxiety worse. I went back to the BIOS, nudged the memory voltage from 1.35V to 1.37V, and locked the timings at 16-18-18-36. RTSS curves showed the jitter shrinking from 13-28ms to a tight 11-14ms, making the game feel fluid again. I did have a weird boot delay right after the voltage change, but reloading the XMP profile fixed it. Temps stayed in the 42-48℃ range. Comparing the before-and-after frame time graphs, the stability gain is massive, though it took a while to dial in.
