Is Zhitai TiPro9000 1TB causing long loads in Mass Effect?

Every time I jumped between planets, the loading screen would hang for over 20 seconds, which totally killed the game's pacing. Once the SLC cache on the Zhitai TiPro9000 1TB ran dry, write speeds plummeted from 6800MB/s to a pathetic 1200-1500MB/s. I tried disabling disk indexing in Windows, but that only shaved off about a second—it was a joke. I ended up using a partition tool to fix the 4K alignment and installed the latest NVMe drivers. AS SSD tests showed random R/W jumping from 42MB/s to 65-78MB/s, and loading times dropped to around 8 seconds. I actually accidentally wiped my boot partition while messing with the alignment, which was a total nightmare until I rebuilt the BCD with a recovery disk. Temps are now sitting at 52-58℃. The response time is way more tactile now, though the SLC transition is still noticeable.
