Fixing City Entry Freezes
Walking through bustling city streets was plagued by 0.3-second freezes, making the controls feel totally unresponsive. I tried increasing virtual memory to 64GB via Windows Task Manager, but it actually slowed down system response, and CrystalDiskMark showed writes tanking from 5000MB/s to 800MB/s. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to bump the read queue to 1024 and enabled forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark showed a 15% gain in random reads, and AIDA64 confirmed temps at 45-52℃ with fans at 1200-1500RPM.
