Optimize Galax H410M Shadow NVMe
Every map transition in Horizon Zero Dawn felt like a punishment due to 15-22ms storage latency. I assumed it was RAM, so I bumped the page file to 32GB, but my FPS dropped from 120 to 88. That was a waste of time. The real bottleneck was the conservative NVMe queue depth on my Galax H410M Shadow. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to raise it from 1024 to 2048 and enabled forced write cache refresh. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read speeds jumping to 68-75MB/s. Loading times cut from 12s to 5s, and drive temps stayed stable at 42-55°C. The open world finally loads instantly.
