Is ADATA ValueRAM 8GB DDR5 4800 causing forest lag?
Watching my frame rate swing wildly between 60 and 30 FPS was giving me serious anxiety; it's a total nightmare during combat. The 4800MHz frequency on the ADATA ValueRAM was hitting 90-115ns of latency when streaming heavy assets, causing the CPU to stall while rendering dense vegetation. I tried the 'Ultimate Performance' power plan, but while it helped responsiveness, my RAM temps spiked to 60℃ and the fans sounded like a jet engine, which was a huge letdown. I ended up going into the BIOS, bumping the RAM voltage from 1.1V to 1.2V, and loosening the primary timings from 40-40-40-77 to 42-42-42-80 for better stability. AIDA64 confirmed that the latency jitter shrank from 15-30ns to 10-16ns, and the drops stopped. I did blue-screen twice during the first voltage attempt because I went too high, but backing off by 0.05V fixed it. RAM temps now hover between 45-52℃. It's stable now, though 8GB is still a tight squeeze for this engine.
