Stop Land of Shadow Freezes
Every time I switched map areas in the Land of Shadow, the game froze for 3-4 seconds without warning, which was nerve-wracking. I tried updating the SSD firmware, but loading times only dropped by a fraction of a second while the freezes persisted. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configurator to increase queue depth from 32 to 128. 4K read performance jumped to 62-70 MB/s per CDM, and read latency stayed at 115-145 ms per CrystalDiskInfo, with temps at 44-52℃ per HWInfo.
