Fixing Delta Force Input Lag
Fast-paced shooting in Delta Force was impossible with my AMD Ryzen 5 5600. Input response latency was jumping from 8ms to 25ms, making every shot feel delayed. I tried tweaking the page file size first, but it only caused the frame rate to drop from 144 to 120 FPS. That was a counterproductive move that added more frustration. I then opened GamePP Power Plan Switcher. I changed the processor performance bias from Balanced to High Performance and enabled active cooling mode. The scheduling anomaly was resolved instantly. A Cinebench R23 single-core stress test confirmed the latency converged to 8-10ms. GamePP Benchmark verified stable scheduling.
