Stop GW3500 Thermal Throttling
Moving quickly along ridgelines, the frame rate suddenly dropped from 80 to 40, making the journey feel incredibly sluggish. I first tried forcing PCIe link speed to 3.0 in BIOS to reduce heat, but read/write speeds halved and loading times increased by 5 seconds. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to move the trigger threshold to 45℃ and forced max airflow. Max temperature was suppressed to 55-62℃ per AIDA64, and throughput stabilized at 3200-3500MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, allowing me to set.
