Ground Control 2 Cooling Optimization
I worried frame drops would ruin a rare weapon pickup. I added a high-RPM fan, but the noise was unbearable and temps only dropped 3℃. I used GamePP Fan Curve Panel to set starting temp to 65℃ and max speed to 100%. GamePP Hardware Sensor showed temps dropping from 88-92℃ to 78-82℃, and 1% Low FPS increased from 42 to 55 via the Frame Time Analyzer.
