Solving power stability and crashes on Onda B760ITX-B4 for ZZZ?
The power delivery on this board is basically a tightrope walk; the moment the effects get flashy, the whole system just reboots. On the Onda B760ITX-B4, the Vcore voltage swing hit a massive 0.14V during peak loads, which is a disaster for fast-paced combat. I tried disabling all power-saving options in Windows, but that just pushed the CPU to 96℃ and caused a thermal shutdown—totally the wrong move. To actually fix it, I went into the BIOS and capped the CPU max turbo boost at 4.4GHz and set the Load-Line Calibration (LLC) to Level 3. In OCCT stress tests, the voltage drop shrunk from 140mV to around 50mV. I did have a weird issue where the game froze on the loading screen for ten minutes after the first cap, but reloading the XMP profile fixed it. Now the CPU sits at 62-70℃ and the MOS VRMs are at 75-81℃. I exported the crash logs to verify the voltage spikes are gone, and the fans are humming along steadily at 1400-1600RPM.
