DDR5 Frequency Stabilization
It was absolutely ridiculous—top-tier memory causing frame drops in the forest scenes of The Last of Us Part II. I first tried turning off the RGB lighting, thinking it might be voltage interference, but it did absolutely nothing. That kind of 'voodoo' optimization was a total waste of time. I used the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor to micro-adjust the frequency down from 6000MHz to 5800MHz and tuned the VDD voltage to 1.4V per HWiNFO. Frame times were suppressed to 9-13ms per RTSS, and AIDA64 confirmed a 5% increase in read/write performance with temps at 52-58℃.
