Can clearing cache fix crashes on Sapphire RX 9070 XT?
It's unbelievable—I bought a top-tier 9070 XT and the game just crashes on startup. Absolute joke. The Sapphire PULSE drivers were struggling with the high-density foliage rendering, causing the shader compilation queue to overflow between 15GB - 18GB, which triggered a full driver reset. I tried lowering all settings to minimum, but it still crashed, proving this wasn't a performance issue but a low-level code conflict. I used DDU to completely wipe the driver remnants and manually cleared 6.4GB of shader cache files from the system drive. After restarting, the loading screen dropped from 50 seconds to 20 seconds, and the black screens stopped. I did experience some slight stuttering during the first few minutes of gameplay while the shaders re-compiled, but it smoothed out quickly. GPU temps are now 58-65℃ with power draw at 210-240W. Windows Event Viewer confirms the driver error codes are gone, and fans are steady at 1400-1600RPM.
