Is the Jonsbo CR-1400E ARGB enough for The Hunt's forests?
This cooler was basically a joke under this kind of load. My CPU was hitting 98°C and the frame rate looked like an EKG monitor—just jumping all over the place. I tried taking the side panel off my case, which dropped temps by 5°C but just sucked in dust and didn't actually fix the stuttering. I decided to go nuclear: I stripped it down and applied liquid metal thermal interface material and strapped a 120mm high-static pressure 'brute' fan behind the fins. In the monitoring panel, my cores finally dropped from the 90-100°C hell-zone to a manageable 76-82°C. I actually messed up the first application and put too much on, which almost shorted my motherboard—I had to scrub it with isopropyl alcohol in a total panic. RAM usage stayed around 14-18GB and VRAM hit 7.2GB. I logged the whole thing in the system logs and the frame times finally flattened out to 5.1-6.4ms. It's a bit of a janky setup, but it actually works.
