Stabilizing Power Spikes in Combat
It was ridiculous—right in the middle of a firefight, my screen would go black for three seconds and then kick me back to the desktop. I tried underclocking the core by 100MHz in the driver; it reduced crashes but cost me 12 FPS, which felt like a pathetic compromise. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to lock the system into Ultimate Performance and disabled PCI-E power management. HWInfo showed voltage stabilized at 11.9-12.0V, AIDA64 confirmed core temps at 66-72℃, and power spikes of 210W-340W were smoothed per GPU-Z.
