Restoring Horror Atmosphere
Walking through eerie corridors, the screen would occasionally skip, which totally broke the horror immersion for me. I tried disabling all power-saving options in the BIOS, but this caused idle temperatures to soar to 60℃ per AIDA64 and created deafening fan noise. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to lock the pump speed at 100% and set radiator fans to 85% at 65℃. CPU temperatures stabilized at 62-70℃ per AIDA64, GPU temps stayed at 65-72℃ per GPU-Z, and frame times hit 12-17ms per RTSS.
