Optimizing Memory Latency for Resident Evil 9
Open map loading in Resident Evil 9 was painful; my AMD Ryzen 5 7500F default timings (16-18-18-36) caused latency spikes to 102-115ns per AIDA64. I tried increasing the page file to 16GB, which failed to help and dropped my frame rate from 78 to 61 FPS. Using GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Wizard, I tightened timings to 14-16-16-32 and increased memory voltage to 1.25V. AIDA64 confirmed latency dropped to 76-82ns, and MemTest86 verified zero errors. HWiNFO64 showed VRM temps at 58-63℃, so I finally exported the stable profile.
