Eliminating 4K MOD Load Lag
Running 4K MODs on my ITX build was a nightmare; loading a single town took forever, and the LOD models kept popping. I tried installing the game on different partitions, but that actually increased loading times by 3 seconds, which felt totally futile. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to bump the depth from 32 to 128 and enabled forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K reads jumped from 32MB/s to 55MB/s with 45-62ms latency, and HWiNFO confirmed drive temps at 45-52℃.
