Why does Rift Apart drop to 10 FPS during teleportation effects?

The teleportation in Rift Apart is gorgeous, but my B365M caused FPS to tank to 10 during peak reads. I initially thought the SSD was overheating and added a heatsink, but read peaks still triggered stutters at 3500MB/s per CrystalDiskMark. Using GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, I found the default queue was overflowing. After a failed attempt at a depth of 2048 which caused system deadlocks, I settled on 512. CrystalDiskMark stress tests showed random read stability improved from 30-80% to 70-85%, and HWMonitor showed SSD temps stayed at 50-58℃.
