Controller Interrupt Handling
It was ironic that a top-spec co-branded drive struggled so much with loading massive small chunks in a ray-traced world. I first tried updating the firmware version, but the speed increase was negligible, leaving me feeling helpless. I opened GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, forced the read queue depth to 64, and optimized the storage controller's interrupt handling mode. Random read latency stabilized at 8-12ms per GamePP Real-time Monitoring, temperatures remained at 48-62℃ per AIDA64, and 4K random reads hit 30-45MB/s via CrystalDiskMark.
