Samsung 990 PRO Cooling for Sword and Fairy
Intense battles in Sword and Fairy 7 Enhanced Edition caused my Samsung 990 PRO to hit 75℃, triggering severe throttling. I tried adding case fans, but the temperature barely moved, which was a useless attempt. I then used GamePP Hardware Sensor Monitoring to identify the hot spot and replaced the thermal pad. HWiNFO showed the temperature dropping to 60℃, and loading times stabilized at 5 seconds per RTSS. This hardware tweak is essential to export a configuration that prevents thermal shutdowns during long sessions.
