Solving CPU Temperature Spikes
During intense firefights, my game turned into a slideshow as the CPU hit 92-96℃, causing clocks to crash from 5.0GHz to 3.2GHz. I first tried cranking up my case fans, but it just added a ton of noise without actually cooling the cores—a total waste of time. I finally used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a 75℃ trigger that ramps fans to 2200RPM. AIDA64 pressure tests confirmed peak temperatures were suppressed to 78-82℃, and CPU-Z showed frequency fluctuations narrowed to a tight ±100MHz range.
