Intel 660P Thermal Control
It's unbelievable—my drive would hit 78℃ in the city and read speeds would plunge from 3000MB/s to 800MB/s. I tried enabling power-saving mode in the BIOS, which lowered the temp by a measly 3℃ but added 6 seconds to every loading screen. I finally used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to adjust concurrency to 2048 and enabled forced write cache flush. CrystalDiskMark showed stable random reads of 42-55 MB/s, and RTSS measured frame times at 5.1-6.4ms. HWMonitor confirmed temps at 58-65℃.
