Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT stuttering in Like a Dragon Ishin?
This card is an absolute power-hog, and seeing it struggle with frame drops in these scenes is honestly a joke. The Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pulse was hitting severe fragmentation in the 16-20GB/s bandwidth range when processing massive triangle counts, leading to frame time spikes between 22-48ms. I first tried lowering the LOD settings, but the world turned into a blocky mess—it was a total amateur move. Instead, I went into the driver's advanced settings, set texture filtering to 'Performance', and carved out 4GB of system RAM as a VRAM extension pool. Monitoring via RivaTuner, the frame time curve finally flattened out to a consistent 15-19ms. I had some minor system hitching when I first enabled the pool, but bumping my RAM frequency to 6400MHz smoothed it right out. Core temps hovered around 64-70℃ with fans spinning at 2200-2300 RPM. I exported the bandwidth logs to confirm the bottleneck was gone, though the fan noise is pretty noticeable.
