Stopping GPU Thermal Throttling
In the depths of the jungle, my GPU temperature suddenly hit 85℃ per HWInfo, causing the screen to freeze for 0.4 seconds—a truly ironic experience. I tried lowering the power limit in the drivers, but it didn't lower the temperature and the frame rate tanked even further, which felt utterly futile. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a stepped increase to 80-100% for the 70-85℃ range. 3DMark stress tests confirmed the frequency stabilized at 2100-2300MHz per AIDA64, with fan speeds reaching 2100-2300RPM per GamePP.
