Ending Map Loading Freezes
It was ridiculous—a PCIe 3.0 drive actually freezing the entire interface while loading a map. I tried migrating the game to another partition, but the problem persisted, making the whole attempt a waste of time. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to lock the queue depth at 2048 and adjusted the system write cache flush interval. RTSS showed fluctuations dropped from 30-120ms to 15-25ms, and AIDA64 confirmed drive temperatures stayed between 50-62℃ with a 12% boost in random read performance.
