Solving VRAM Bandwidth Lag
Despite having 16GB VRAM, I encountered maddening stutters in deep snowfields with ultra textures. It was incredibly frustrating to see the GPU idling. I tried lowering shadow quality in-game, but the visuals became cheap and ugly, and the stutter frequency didn't even improve. I then used the GamePP Image Sampling Calibrator to set the render scale to 90% and DLSS sharpening to 70%. This worked perfectly: frame times converged to 16-22ms per RTSS, and core temperatures stayed at 64-70℃ per AIDA64, while VRAM bandwidth usage dropped from a saturated 94-98% per GPU-Z.
