Cooling Fan Curve Optimization
My Fortnite squad battles were ruined by wild frame time jumps from 8ms to 45ms. I tried cleaning temp files, but the CPU was simply overheating. I used GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to push the Thermalright PA140 fan speed from 1200RPM to 1800RPM. HWiNFO showed the CPU temperature dropping to a safe 78-82℃. RivaTuner confirmed the frame interval converged to a smooth 8.3ms. No more stuttering in the lobby.
