Solving Dota 2 FPS Drops
When team fights erupt, the fans suddenly roar but the frame rate continues to drop—a thermal throttling scenario that feels utterly hopeless. I tried lowering the CPU core voltage to reduce heat, but this resulted in a BSOD during the loading screen, which was incredibly ironic. I entered the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration panel and forced the speed to 1600 RPM for temperatures above 70℃. RivaTuner showed FPS stabilized at 130-135 (from 110-140), HWInfo confirmed temps at 68-74℃, and GamePP detected a fan response delay of 6s before the fix to export
