WD SN770 I/O Latency Optimization
The moment an automatic door opened, my frame time jumped from 11ms to 58ms, which felt jarringly abrupt. I tried disabling all power-saving options in the driver, but while read speeds rose, the drive hit 75℃ per HWiNFO and throttled, which was a futile effort. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase depth to 64 and set the game to high priority. Frame time fluctuations converged to 13-18ms per RTSS, and final frame times reached 5.1-6.4ms per RTSS, with drive temps stable at 48-56℃ per HWiNFO.
