Managing virtual memory on Great Wall GW3300 512GB for gaming?
Trying to run a AAA beast like this on a 512GB drive is like trying to catch a waterfall with a teacup. My disk usage was basically locked at 90%+, forcing the system to spam the pagefile, leaving my load between 80% - 95%. I tried clearing temp files, but even after freeing 20GB, the memory overflow happened again within 30 minutes. It was pure hardware despair. I went into the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config, bumped the queue from 32 to 64, and locked my virtual memory to a fixed 12GB. In CrystalDiskMark, random 4K reads went from 28-35 MB/s to 42-50 MB/s, and the crash rate dropped from twice an hour to basically zero.
