Is the Huntkey Blizzard T600 causing power spikes in Black Desert?
This PSU was a total joke under pressure; it rebooted three times just loading the map, and the error codes were basically random. I tried killing every single background app, which helped for a bit, but as soon as the fight started, it crashed again. Absolutely ridiculous. I ended up swapping the stock modular cables for high-quality shielded cables and set the Windows Power Plan to 'Ultimate Performance'. Using an oscilloscope, I saw the transient voltage swings drop from a wild 11.5-12.5V to a tight 11.9-12.1V, and the reboots stopped completely. Before the cable swap, I wasted hours reinstalling Windows thinking it was a motherboard failure, which was a total nightmare. Now the CPU pulls 120-150W and the GPU peaks around 320W.
