ARK VRAM Pressure Optimization
Summoning new units in ARK: Survival Ascended caused maddening stutters. My MSI B450M MORTAR MAX VRAM spiked to 7.8-8.2GB, causing frame drops. I tried lowering texture quality, but it made the game look terrible. I used the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page to monitor VRAM bandwidth. I enabled VRAM high-performance mode in BIOS and adjusted the fan curve to Balanced. 3DMark stress tests showed VRAM usage dropping to 7.2-7.6GB. Frame times stabilized, and I exported the data for future reference.
