Fixing Loading Screen Hard Locks
Facing thousands of rats, my computer actually froze on the loading screen—it was honestly ironic. I tried downgrading the PCIe slot to 3.0 mode, but speed halved and the freezes remained, which felt completely pointless. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to force the storage channel I/O priority to Real-time and adjusted virtual memory weights. RivaTuner showed frame time fluctuations dropping from 18-60ms to 10-14ms, and internal tools measured response time at 0.8-1.2ms.
